One of the biggest scams in history?

The Quixtar/Amway Scam

A worldwide company claiming to offer success, selling unrealistic dreams, finally came up with an excuse due to Dateline Nbc's episode, in which Dateline stated how Quixtar aka Amway, is using through their "affiliates" a lame pathetic propaganda on how easy and quick you can achieve success selling their home appliances, vitamins, brand name electronics and others. Quixtar's excuse is superficial and only an act of desperation on not to lose business, as for any corporate mentality every penny counts. Besides, Quixtar had the insight to build a whole new website, just in order to explain themselves on how innocent and fair they are in their way or doing business. If you take a good close look at it, it is something like the chicken or the egg?

In fact the truth is, that Dateline, came up, after months of investigation, with a very realistic, comprehensive, complete, and subjective approach on what Quixtar and Amway is in fact. Although only Quixtar and Amway are mentioned the the spot, there are other important affiliates that are in fact the real people who profit behind the Quixtar scam, such as Network21(another multi million network selling expensive empty promises on books, tapes etc)

Basically what is happening is Network21 is using Quixtar and Amway, and their products, as a market tool in order to sell their own, which would be tapes, Cd's, books, expensive tickets to all kind of seminars, on how to get rich selling Amway products. Although Quixtar/Amway knows about it, they keep it quite, and they've been keeping from the beggining. On all these "promotional items" you'll find people promising success, claiming without any shame how they're driving Ferraris and living in million dollar houses, and they got all this by selling Amway products.

These are either front-men, or poster boys paid by Quixtar or/and Network21 in order to promote their products, or, indeed, people of "great success", who made a fortune from selling not Amway/Quixtar items, but more likely these promotional how to get rich quick items. However they're not gonna tell you that, they're gonna tell you they made all that money selling quality Amway products to friends and family) These front-men are chosen carefully, and ironically treated like superstars by the audiences, deceived by these scam-artists, in making big money.

I know I have been doing business with Amway (it was just Amway at that time, they didn't need any cover yet) and i learned that they can be the most deceitful, two-faced people you could ever meet. Bragging about what king of cars they're driving and how much money they make, they'll take you for every penny you got and try to sell you not Amway products, but Network21 promotional items unreasonably expensive which is only a strong, powerful, cold-blooded, manipulative tool in order to get you overexcited and overconfident in starting out on a business with investing huge amount of moneys in promotional items, that you most likely will never generate back.

The image I've seen at the so called "Weekend seminars" is almost frightening. Thousands of people who pay a huge amount of money for a three day lame spectacle, featuring music, laser shows etc., but ultimately bringing these fake rich guys in front of your eyes, real experts in how to manipulate masses. Whats in fact frightening but also pathetic are the people holding candles, just like in a religious ritual, but worshiping “the devil”, and some of them so overexcited and manipulated that they have tears running down their faces. A huge LCD screen is also present, showing, boats, planes, houses, cars, all kinds of properties, on what you'll get if you "join the club".

Statistically 99.9% of all Amway IBO's not only that will not be successful in their business, but they won't even come close.
